A bit about the project:
Are you ready? Are you beach body ready? We see thousands of images of mediated nudity but rarely get the chance to experience ‘real’ bodies that haven’t been cherry-picked, polished and photoshopped. This interactive 3D documentary explores themes of love, intimacy, nudity, consent and objectification in VR.
My involvement in the project:
I worked with Ellie Richold to translate her long-standing vision into a virtual reality experience. I handled the volumetric capture of the couples and the Unity development side of the experience. We are very pleased with how the project has turned out and plan to expand the experience to include more couples in the near future!
